It may not sound very innovative now but at the time, there was little to choose from that wasn’t $200+ for a simple costume. Our idea was not to provide Guild costumes, which can run in the thousands, or those cheap costumes that are a dime a dozen, but to provide a quality costume for its price for those who enjoy visiting Faires and still play a part by looking the part.

I was pleasantly surprised with the purchase of this costume and wore it to our annual renaissance fair. It was well made, true to size, and so soft and comfortable. I literally wish I could wear it everyday! I would definitely recommend and absolutely love the color choice as well. I received sooo many compliments too!

White slip is very sheer but not see through with generous fit that I would say would fit well for sizes16-20 and can be worn on or off the shoulder. The blue over dress is just gorgeous, soft, adjustable with lovely detail. It can be pulled tighter to fit smaller sizes and is super flattering even on my larger frame. The sleeves are really long, falling past my hands but I think it’s within the style of the time period it reflects. Overall this dress is beautiful a really good deal!

Overall I’m really pleased. The underdress and light and flowy. It isn’t very sheer. It does a good job at mostly covering my black under garments. Enough that I don’t feel weird if I had to wear darker under garments and be concerned they showed too much.The over dress is nice. I’m glad you can adjust at the shoulders. I have a sizable bust and couldn’t wear it like in the picture. It created a weird side profile and make it uncomfortable. I had to let it out at the shoulders to compensate and it doesn’t lose the look. The cinching is sturdy. No signs of ripping when tightening it, which was my concern. There is enough string to let it out or cinch it more if needed, so the overdress is completely adjustable.The overall length is perfect. I’m 5’5” 220 lb and it is just above the ground on me. Will be perfect with shoes and no fear of dragging it on the ground.The fabrics aren’t too breathable, but the flow allows a good amount of air in your walk, so I think I will be okay in the heat.This is the L/XL size. My only suggestion is to do a sit down test and make sure you haven’t cinched it too much to be uncomfortable.My measurements are:Height: 5’5”Weight: 220 lbsBust: 44”Waist: 36”Hip: 48”

If you’re looking for a quick, cute little outfit for a RenFest weekend, buy this now.First off I’ll say THIS ISNT AN EXPENSIVE FANCY ITEM. You are getting what you pay for and this won’t last you years and years.But considering the price this is an extremely good find for a one time event or maybe a few times. The fabric is thin and silky, but not cheap. I don’t imagine it will be terrible to wear in the heat. It’s really comfortable and you can tighten straps in the front and back to adjust the size. For reference I’m 5’10 and 180 lbs. it’s a tiiiiiny bit short (like barely it’s maybe half and inch off the ground) but otherwise it fits perfect. I got an XL. It feels like it’s decent quality, definitely not Halloween costume like some reviews say. Again if you’re expecting to get years of wear from this then this one isn’t for you, but it’s perfect for what I need it for which is just one weekend.

Took a leap in buying this dress. Wasn’t expecting such a nice dress! Over dress and under dress included, not attached to one another so it makes for a great way to start an affordable renfaire coord! Overdress has boning, and beautiful embroidery. Overall made of a soft albeit, see through material but nothing bloomers won’t fix. Can’t wait to purchase in other colors.

I used the top piece. The white dress part was too clingy and tight. I’m a size 24/3x. I found another under dress perfect for me. But the green/color piece in this set is super high quality and very adjustable. Very light and comfortable to wear. I very likely will buy this in other colors in the future for other costume builds. I got many compliments on this one!

The colors were accurate and it’s ok on. My measurements are 34 27 34, I bought the small/medium. It only fits decent if is cinched in the back and front all the way. I should have sized down to get a better fit from the over dress but xxs/xs seemed like it would be way too small. The under dress/chemise is horrible on, the overdress definitely helps! The fabric is 100% unbreathable, it’s horrible! I was sweating before I got out of my house. I was so hot at the Faire that I just wanted to peel it off. The seems are not turned under, theyre just surged and have a lot of loose threads. If you’re going to an outdoor event in high temps then I wouldn’t choose this. It’s like a very cheap polyester/microfiber sheet honestly, it’s that kind of hot/feel. In pictures this would be fine and maybe for an indoor party it would be manageable. The chemise fabric should be breathable and the seems actually turned under and sewn in my opinion. The outer dress would probably be ok as is since it’s not too high in the armseye.

This dress was absolutely perfect for my day at the Renaissance festival. It fit me so well which made me very happy because I am quite petite. It is two pieces, the white dress and then the colored overlay which ties in the front, back and on the shoulders for total size customization. It held up all day even from walking through a muddy trail. Highly recommend! It is good quality, breathable, and made me feel like a fairy 🙂

Overall the value for price was worth it. After just two wearings a year apart, I will have to replace the elastic in the underneath shift, which stretched out to complete uselessness. But for how inexpensive it was, I didn’t expect as good a quality as it it. The overdress has a good amount of adjustment to flatter a pretty wide size range, and no elastic in that to wear out. The material is polyester but not super cheap feeling. At least it will be good for multiple wearings with some modifications to the shift. If you don’t want to replace or modify the shift, consider this a single-use purchase.
